I was probably the first putting together a QML training in early 2010 – eight months before QML was released. A Taiwanese customer wanted to adapt QML and Qt early for their tablets. From Taiwan, the training started its world tour to South Korea, the US, the UK, France and Germany. I gave the training to industry heavyweights like Intel, Loewe, NDS, Inventec and PSA Peugeot Citroën.
A training is often only the start. The next step is deepening the learned skills on a real project. I have coached several software development teams in Qt, QML, C++, Scrum, eXtreme Programming (XP) or test-driven development (TDD). My goal as a coach is to make myself gradually superfluous and enable the team to work on their own.
I offer customised trainings and coaching on the job for the following topics:
- Qt and QML,
- C++ and C++11,
- Scrum, eXtreme Programming (XP), and test-driven development,
- object-oriented design and design patterns.
